By undertaking a treatment by Cheryl Davison (T/A chez salu) you accept that the therapeutic outcome cannot be guaranteed and that all fees are payable in consideration of my time and expertise regardless of the therapeutic outcome.
Fees and payment
Payment in full is required at the end of each treatment.
We appreciate notice of cancellation 48 hours prior to your appointment. Cancellations after this time are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. An offer an alternative appointment time may be offered if appropriate. We reserve the right to cancel an appointment, but will only do so in the most exceptional circumstances. In this instance, we will give as much notice as possible. chez salu accepts no liability whatsoever for any financial or other consequences of the cancellation.
Arriving late for an appointment
If you are running late please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to make a full treatment available, but this will be dependent upon bookings subsequent to your appointment, and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
We are bound by the ethical code of the Complementary Therapist Association (CThA) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and will maintain your personal data in the strictest confidentiality. Your personal information from a consultation will never by passed to any third party unless required to do so by law. All information you provide during the course of your treatment will be held in the same strict confidentiality unless you provide written instructions to share it with your GP or any other third party.
Chez salu is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected will be maintained in the strictest confidence and all personal details submitted to us are for our use only.
Who has access to your information?
We will never sell, rent nor share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information we will require from you will include your name and address, your telephone number and email address, and various other details necessary to complete a session. All client and enquirer’s email addresses are automatically entered into a database so they may receive occasional emails from us about our services or general advice about our services which may benefit them. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing emails from us by unsubscribing at the bottom of any sent emails or by emailing Cheryl@chezsalu.co.uk
For the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example to process orders or send you mailings), we may use third-party service providers and other associated organisations. In such cases, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary for them to deliver the service and have a non-disclosure agreement in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes. When you use our secure store pages, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.
You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive direct marketing communications from us about our products and services, then you can select your choices by ticking the relevant boxes situated on the form on which we collect your information. We will not contact you for marketing purposes unless you have given your prior consent. Every communication from us will give you the choice to opt out of future emails.
How you can access and update your information
The accuracy of your information is important to us. Under current data protection laws, you have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you so that you can ensure its accuracy. You can do this by emailing Cheryl@chezsalu.co.uk
Storing your Personal Data
Transferring any data or information on the internet is never completely secure. While we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of data sent either to or from our site and therefore any transfer is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access. Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Any personal data necessary for the provision of healthcare, such as a naturopathic consultation or massage, is not kept online and is safely stored and kept for up to 8 years after a client's last visit as per the CNHC code of practice.
