Naturopathy is a natural healthcare system which promotes self-healing in the body. Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, believed that health was dependent upon regular exercise, eating simple, good-quality food, and that disease only occurred as a result of a disturbance in the balance of the body. Today’s naturopathic practitioners continue to advocate the importance of a healthy, balanced lifestyle and work with clients to prevent illness and to promote health.

Naturopathy places the emphasis on health and how to promote it, in contrast to today's general medical system which focuses on disease and it's treatment.

Extensive research into the links between emotions and the immune system supports the connection between the emotional and physical state; in most cases of dis-ease there is an underlying emotional imbalance. I believe that this is your body's way of communicating with you, and trust that once this imbalance is corrected then good health will follow.
